So I know I've told you guys about my career change of late. But I wanted to wait and make sure I had permission to post some photos.
This is Brogan.
He is three-and-a-half years old and in this picture he was showing me how he can roll his tongue. He likes baby carrots with hummus, turtles, Batman, going to the zoo, playing soccer, pancakes, watching bugs and wearing his Spiderman rain-boots every day he can get away with it (regardless of weather conditions). We spend our mornings when he's not at school out on the town climbing all over things, throwing rocks or balls, jumping and running around (during which he always manages to get very very sweaty, he is such a boy). He takes great interest in what my house looks like and what my sister's dog looks like and he is a ridiculously observant kid and a big question asker.
This is Anya.
She is five years old and in this photo she is very very excited because we were browsing the Disney store and we had at that moment come to the princess section. Anya likes popcorn, Ariel from The Little Mermaid, feeding horses, drawing, the colour pink, and carrying Pencil around unnecessarily as often as I will let her. She is such a sweet little girl, we have sketchbook time together every afternoon where we will haul out all our drawing supplies and spend an hour drawing, eating a special snack and talking. She just lost her first tooth a few weeks ago and that was the subject of much focus.
I took these pictures on a day when we were outside relishing the lack of rain.
When we go for walks Anya loves to hold Pencil's leash.
Brogan loves to walk along throwing handfulls of rocks, sticks and leaves into the water.
I love that I get to spend every day hanging out with these lovely kids.
